Pheasant’s Gold bottles will be 20% off through December. This sweet white wine is a fruity blend of local grapes. With 3 different grapes in this wine, you can taste tangerine, apple, pear, and apricot. Our Winemaker, Denny, recommends pairing with a large slice of Peach Pie topped with a hunk of sharp cheddar. I recommend turning it into a hot spiced wine to serve at your Christmas.
Hot Spiced Wine Recipe:
2 bottles of Pheasant’s Gold(or your favorite Pheasant Hollow wine)
1 bottle water
1 cup brown sugar
1 packet of our mulling spices(do not open)
add all ingredients to a crockpot and stir until the sugar is mostly dissolved.
turn the crockpot to on. you do not want this to boil, but it needs to cook at a high heat.
after 90 minutes, remove the spice bag(whole), and reduce heat to serving temperature.
